Guest Blog: Super Stylist Judi Kay Takes Orlando

I found myself crying and pinching myself after Remi Cachet so kindly asked if I would like to accompany them to Premiere Beauty Show 2017, an amazing hair show in Orlando! I never thought anything like this would happen to me, I’m so lucky. There are many perks of being a Super Stylist, but this invitation tops the bill.

I was even more excited to find out that we were flying Upper Class with the amazing Virgin Atlantic.  Remi Cachet really did treat me, we were travelling in absolute luxury. When I entered the VIP Lounge, I searched frantically for Brad Pitt but no avail much to my disappointment. My highlights from the journey was the delicious Champagne three course meal.

Upon arrival at our gorgeous hotel, I was greeted with this brilliant view of the Orlando Eye. The Eye displayed rainbow colours for most of the week to celebrate Gay Pride, yet changed to Union Jack colours to mourn the tragic events at London Bridge.

Our first day was ours to explore and have fun before the event. What better way to have fun than going to Universal with the whole team? This was a great way for me to get to know the team even more before working the event with them.   I have met Victoria, Abigail & Phil from Remi Cachet many times now and fellow Super Stylists Helen Richardson and Sarah Wilkins message each other through the Super Stylist private group, but it was so lovely to get to know each other more. Even though I missed my kids, I had so much fun being a big kid for the day. Harry Potter World was just incredible and the attention to detail was second to none. The butter beer was so yummy but it gave me a severe brain freeze!! My family still don’t believe that I was actually out there to work…

After our fun-filled day, it was now time to get to work and set up stall at Premiere Beauty Show 2017.  WOW. I have been to so many trade shows, but none on this scale. It was mahoooosive!! I felt like a little girl in a sweet shop. All of these gorgeous hair products and information, I literally had goosebumps. Especially when our Real Housewives of New Jersey guest, Teresa Giudice, arrived. She was due to arrive at 2, but by 1.30, a swarm of crowds surged around our stand just to get a glimpse of the star. We of course, had front row seats.

Our “Touch me, feel me, love me” strap-line went down an absolute treat. Everyone was in awe of the beautiful hair and came to stroke the beautiful wefts. We received many comments complimenting the colour range and thickness of the hair.

I’m now at home with my heating full blast trying to re-adjust to the cooler temperatures and reminiscing about the amazing trip I have just been on and experiences that have been had.  Visitors couldn’t believe I didn’t actually work for Remi Cachet but was there as a Super Stylist and that the award-winning quality of the hair and client recommendations has built my business.

I can’t thank Victoria Lynch enough for this incredible opportunity. I am truly grateful for everything she has done for me, being a mentor and inspirational businesswoman.

I am so proud to be part of #TeamRC!
