It's easy to take part in our Hair Recycling Scheme, just neatly package up your human hair extensions (we accept any brand) and secure them at the top to make it easier for our team to process. Here's the next steps:

• Step 1: Email us at help@remicachet.com with the subject line "Hair Recycling".

• Step 2: We'll send you a free (UK only) return labels to send them back to us.

• Step 3: Once received, we will process the hair and send it to Matter of Trust or Little Lady Locks, depending on the condition.

Our recycling scheme allows salons to return used extensions and reduce waste that would otherwise end up in landfill. ​

We have teamed up with Matter of Trust with their Clean Wave Campaign and Little Lady Locks to promote environmental responsibility, sustainability, awareness around recycling of hair human extensions as well as helping to drive better futures.

With their Clean Wave Campaign, Matter of Trust are able to create 'hair mats' with unwanted human hair extensions, which are then used to clean up oil spills. In an effort to keep our oceans clean and sustainable to sea life, our surplus or used hair extensions can go a long way to helping the Clean Wave Campaign in creating the much needed hair mats that are a safe and non-hazardous way to protect coves and beaches from the many oil spills that occur every year.

For hair extensions that can be repurposed for further hair system use, we donate your recycled hair to Little Lady Locks that gives new purpose to the hair by transforming it into bespoke wigs and hair systems for children experiencing hair loss. Overall, this supports a sustainable approach while making a meaningful difference.
