Please note, that when it comes to hair extensions on holiday we always have and always will recommend that your clients avoid this. Wearing hair extensions on holiday exposes them to a lot of risks that can lead to discolouration or early colour fade. If you can’t persuade your clients to not wear them on their holidays, make sure you give them as much advice as possible to prevent the worst from happening. 1. Fight The Frizz

This time of year, especially, suncream is a big risk but make sure they are also aware that perfume, body lotions etc are also a big risk for discolouration. If your clients are wearing these products in areas where their hair touches this can transmit onto the hair and influence the colour. So, advise them to keep their hair high.
If they are going to the beach or swimming pool, they also need to make sure their hair is tied up to keep it out of the sea or chlorinated water, another key cause of discolouration.
3. Say Hello To A New Hat And Shade
As one of the best and most natural ways to protect their hair from the sun, wearing a hat is perfect for both your client’s hair and skin.
Temperature is also a big factor in how long their hair colour stays vibrant in order to prevent early colour fade they must keep their hair cool too, so advise them to opt for the shade when possible.

It’s important to note that for those stunning, sunny holiday destinations where the water isn't drinkable because of the minerals it contains, it can not only be bad for your client's skin but can also cause discolouration to their hair.
