Cherry Pop
Starting with a shade that is sure to make a statement this season is the bold and beautiful Cherry Pop.
Hairdressers Journal has featured this colour in one of three hair trend predictions for autumn/winter 2023 with colour and styling trend forecaster Zoë Irwin stating “Now everyone is more used to copper, stylists are breaking free and upping the pigment” Continuing, she explains, “This brings us to Cherry Pop… People are becoming so playful with hair colour and almost want something that’s super head-turning. Before people were playing it a lot safer, but now they want a real pop.”
It’s not just Hairdressers Journal predicting this powerful colour in autumn but professional haircare brands have announced this as their 2023 of the year with Goldwells Global Ambassador Angelo Seminara explaining “I was truly honoured to create Cherry Pop as Goldwell’s Color of the Year 2023. Reds have always been synonymous with Goldwell and this particular shade is full of exciting possibilities in hair colour.”

A name that is perfectly in theme with the season, Pumpkin Spice is “a combination of red and brown, giving clients a multi-tonal twist on copper hair colour” as described by Zara Kenyon and Edward Sweeney at Wella Professionals.
