Hair Colours We Expect To Trend In Winter 2024
With winter in full swing, what better of time to share with you the colours we think have impacted the first month of winter and what will continue or start to trend for the final two months of the season so you can be prepared for your client’s consultations if they fancy something different for 2024…
Super Dark Brunette Tones
A great trend to start with is one that matches winter vibes perfectly...
As described by Salon Business Magazine the look is all about “Super dark brunette tones like dark chocolate and espresso (almost black)” further explaining that “they have a richer appearance and give the hair a truly mesmerising shine.” Particularly perfect for the darker months we certainly think, so, if your clients are after a switch up, maybe could be the one for them?
So how can you create this for your clients you may be wondering. Our answer? Certainly our colour 2. This is what we describe as our darkest brown shade, one step below our “black” shades so it suits the “super dark brunette tones” perfectly.

Teddy Bear Blonde
With a look just as cute as the name, Hairdressers Journal quotes “...don’t be surprised if the shade is next on your client’s go-to colour list”.
Describing it as “a soft balayage look… think lots of beige and sandy hues” the UK’s leading magazine for hair professionals further explains that this “is a great colour for clients who like to be super blonde in the summer but switch it up in the winter” highlighting it as “this winter’s trending shade”.
Here at Remi Cachet, we are also seeing a noticeable influence the stunning Teddy Bear Blonde shade has on you and your clients, with us being tagged in lots of creating this look recently…
Here are just two that have caught our eye recently from @krystalizedhair and @melissagordonhairstudio...

Pearlescent Blonde
Another on Salon Business’s list of A/W trend predictions is Pearlescent Blonde, also a regular on our feeds recently too. Described as “super clean” Salon Business discusses that following the “Barbie movie coming out…and Pamela Anderson hair going viral, it’s not hard to see why these bleached blondes are coming back on trend.”
Be prepared with some of these gorgeous Pearlescent Blonde looks @ivystudio_hair and @courtneycrumlish_have tagged us in.

Bronde Blends
Taking our research to where your clients may be looking for their next look, we discovered the rising popularity of “Bronde Blends'' that featured on Glamour Magazine's "The Best Hair Colour Ideas To Try In 2024"with Madison Reed master colourist Shvonne Perkins describing the colour…“These shades sit in the in-between space between blondes and light brunettes that look seamlessly highlighted and don’t go all the way to white-bright blonde tones,” identifying Selena Gomez's new look as an example.
Will Bronde Blends be a regular request from your clients these winter months? We think so… this may just be the perfect shade for them for their New Year look and we can certainly see why.
